Hi,
I’m working on configuring the MDC2230 motor controller for the DG-158 Wheelchair motors with the 500cpr encoder installed in place of the brakes. Based on my calculations the motor should run at 13125 CPR (Counts per revolution of the drive shaft) or 52500 PPR but the Roboteq controller is limited to 5000 PPR in the configuration. Any idea how to approach this? or just use the control for the motor itself rather than the output shaft?
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
We have a forum post that should help you out: Speed controller with encoder input
