So I got this bright idea last night that I wanted to build a nearly indestructible, incredibly fast, all terrain, Remote Control car with steal piping and what not. This is going to be a heavy vehicle, probably upwords of 30 lbs. I was going to run 4 wheel drive on it, but I am having trouble figuring out what engines to run, or if i should even run an electric engine. Thoughts?

Engine typically refers to a gas combustion engine. Motor is electric. 4WD with conventional steering it may be possible to get to that speed, but you will need a lot of power or a transmission. Maybe a big scooter motor. It will be a lot cheaper looking at large scale RC cars or trucks. Skid steer there is no chance to get that speed to weight ratio and still be able to turn…
