    You can stick a large flat screwdriver inside the tube and pry up on the side of the nut to hold it from spinning. You can also pull the shaft and bearing out and reach it from the inside of the bearing hole. If you use locktite and at least snug them up tight then they will hold. Let us know how that works! Send a picture too if you want to show off your robot in process.

    Here is a picture of the type of tracks I made. The total weight of the robot is around 25-30 lbs.

    you might want to make sure the voltage is not dropping too low when you run the motors causing the sabertooth to error out due to low voltage

    I also had the same question about keeping the tracks on. I copied how SuperDroid Robots did their earlier version of the LT tracks and had good luck with it. I used friction drive from lawn mower wheels and screwed cleats on each side of the track to keep it on the wheel. If you get the tension right on the tracks they do not slip either. Let me know if you want pictures and Ill try to dig them up.
