Hey Tyagi,
I would stick to the USB interface if possible.
Otherwise, you’ll need to implement the circuit shown on page 152 of the RoboteQ user manual. The Jetson UART operates on 1.8V/3.3V TTL (assuming you’re using the dev kit) and will not work with RoboteQ’s RS232 without a conversion. Please note that this conversion will invert the…[Read more]

Hi Rob,
You can look here on how to wire the encoder buffer board. http://www.superdroidrobots.com/Schematics/Encoder_Buffer_Board.pdf
The I is for the index if your encoders don’t have it don’t wire it. The encoder buffer board comes with the solder pads already soldered, you don’t need to solder A and B together.SuperDroid wrote a new post 5 years, 10 months ago

Hi Jacob, there is a coefficient of friction value in this table for rubber on stainless steel, which would probably be a pretty similar situation. Keep in mind that this is going to be very subjective. If the metal or rubber is wet or has any sort of lubricant, oil, or any other material on it this number could change drastically. We have never…[Read more]

In speed control the I is the most important and must be set up first, you can take a look in the following link page 126 PID tunning in closed loop speed mode.
